What travel arrangements have been made for this adventure abroad- is it just one person or a whole family going overseas! A Schengen visa is a short-stay visa that allows a person to travel to any member state of the Schengen Area for a maximum of 90 days within a 180-day period. The Schengen Area is an area comprising 26 European countries that have abolished all passport and immigration controls at their mutual borders. It functions as a single country for international travel purposes, with a common visa policy.
It allows the holder to freely travel within the Schengen Area during the visa’s validity period. However, it does not allow its holder to work or study in the Schengen Area. Today, the Schengen Visa is one of the most popular visas in the world, with over 14 million applications submitted every year.

India is a wonderful country with a rich and vibrant culture. However, if you want to travel to Europe, you’ll need to obtain a Schengen Visa. In order to apply for a Schengen Visa, Indian passport holders must pay a fee of 60 euros (about 4500 rupees). This fee is non-refundable, even if your visa application is unsuccessful. In addition to the visa fee, you may also need to pay for things like travel insurance and hotel reservations. However, the Schengen Visa fee is generally very reasonable, and the process of applying for a visa is usually straightforward. So if you’re planning on traveling to Europe, be sure to apply for your Schengen Visa well in advance!
